  • Roof Gutter Rubber Strips

I have a problem with the rubber strips that fill the roof gutter. On the left-hand side front, in front of the roof bar mounts, the rubber strip is detached and can come out. It normally sites in the gutter, but can be removed (for instance the other day doing a pressure spray at a carwash), it blows out of the gutter. Only on one side, the other side, and the rear strips, are all fine (see photo).

Has anyone had this problem before? Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Thanks,

    Mal

    Re: Roof Gutter Rubber Strips

i lost most of mine, had them replaced and installed when i put the HD bars.
simply make sure that the bars braket/leg is on top of the rubber strip tip from both sides front & rear.
in your case i guess you will have to remove the bars and reinstall them.
