  • Replacing Drivers Door Window

So my wonderful wife left our Prado at her work in a public carpark with the GPS still on the dash.

So as would happen someone has smashed the drivers door window for a smash and grab. She still thinks she did nothing wrong.

Toyota quoted $524 for the glass
Was able to source from a wrecker for $200

Has anyone replaced this themselves and/or can someone point me in the direction of an online manual or how to. I'm know the right end of a spanner but have a hell of a time with all those plastic clips they use on door trims. :?

Can't really help you with the exact procedure but I've pulled a number of door trims off on different occasions. Just be gentle with the clips and work your way slowly around. Look around for any screws that could be holding the trim to the door frame.
