can you be more specific? which areas are you talking about? front end, rear end, chassis rails? if its been hit hard enough on any one corner, it can bend fairly easily depending on the situation.
if you are talking about bending the chassis while off roading, then it is not as likely unless you have a collision. suspension components are designed to give way before the chassis, as these components are easier and 9/10 times cheaper to replace compared to complete chassis. if you have significant chassis damage, the vehicle will be a write off anyway. slight bends can be straightened out on a good chassis aligner (with a good pilot)SIK-120

yeah no i just noticed the two tow hooks at the bottom on the bullbar thats the ones that are part of the chassis , one of them looks like it is a bit more bend down then the other , could be just a slight defect as well , i never have really noticed till now , car drives fine and all, only thing i can think that would have done that would be from being pulled out with snatch sraps from the front end? but i have never had a accident in the car

Every Prado, or car for that matter, would have been tied down with these points at some stage would could result in the bending. My guess is that some truckie was just a lil angry that his iced coffee was a bit warm and decided to wrench on that strap a lil harder that day.NOW FOR SALE!!! - 2004 Silver GXL 3lt 4spd Auto - ARB Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Redarc Dual Battery System, Cooper ST MAXX, Dark Tint, IPF900XS spots, Raised Bilstein/Kings Suspension/Firestone Airbags, Autosafe Cargo Barrier, Sandgrabbers, Rola Roof Rack Stuff, Insect Screen, Dust/Wind Deflectors, Sheepskin/Black Duck Seatcovers, GME TX3510, ARB underbonnet compressor, Allied Hammer Rims, ARB UVP, AJ Sliders

Bloke was whining today that he has just bent the chassis between the cab and tub on his near new Navara 4x4 dual cab. Apparently he was chasing some mates who were riding their dirt bikes over some local trails and jumps. Nissan apparently don't feel too sorry for him.Dave

well put bushbasher & Samo
But to give an idea a few years ago my dad was riding his motorbike (most would know whats coming) a lady pulled out in front of him in her charade front wheel of the bike wedged in between the guard and back of the right hand front tyre of the charade
Sure enough bent the subchassis of the charade his speed 40 to 50 kmph after slowing down for a turning car in front of him - I won't go into what happened to him or the bike needless to say he doesn't ride bike anymore but at least he is alive and still walking (with occasional knee giving way)2008 GX turbo diesel auto 5sp Fitted: snorkel dual battery kit kaymar twin wheel carrier Evenutally fitted: Bullbar VHF & UHF radios, storage system Still to come: winning lotto number to pay the blessed thing off set of decent side steps/rock sliders
