Adjusting Bonnet Height at the Hinges

My bonnet is too high at the rear (in front of the windscreen) however there does not appear to be any height adjustment in the hinges. Anyone have any ideas or maybe a manual that shows how to do this?

Not sure, but could an upwards adjustment to the front lower the rear?

Doubt it as the front is too high as well. I can lower the front by adjusting the catch which will be an improvement however the bonnet will still not be sitting level with the guards. The car has never been in an a prang as far as I can tell, so I suspect it has always been this way. Looking for something a little more subtle than a mallet, even a rubber one

Do you have a second battery tray fitted up against the bulkhead (ARB type)? I had a similar thing and the battery securing bolts required adjustment, they were pusing the bonnet up near the hinge.
