I think i might have a crack at some side steps 1st , we are just planning some more reasons to hang out in my mates shed and talk crap whilst consumming some non hydrating fluids but at the same time being creative, and whilst the women bring down more food which must be a sign of approval.New 2015 150s GX 5 seater with floor mats, towbar and a big wish list

""we are just planning some more reasons to hang out in my mates shed and talk crap whilst consumming some non hydrating fluids but at the same time being creative, and whilst the women bring down more food which must be a sign of approval."" Can I come over ?? beer, food, and talking crap and probably more as they go down lol Im only at Penrith will only take me 30 minutes and promise to bring some extra dry lol............Yeah thats the only problem is having to open it up first before the tail gate (wouldnt bother me that much), I know it would drive my wife nuts mmmm just thinking then she will use her own car more instead of wanting to drive myn all the time.........Cheers SteveLast edited by Steve M; 05-04-2012, 08:33 PM.Face lift 150 Prado V6 auto. On a more serious note I will post some pics here and on my build up. The unit gets fitted on 14 AprilBitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Yeah it is the same one I mentioned at the beginning, the guy I spoke to said it def goes to the wheel well. But just looking at the feedback on ebay and it doesn't look good.
On another note, I was speaking to the powerful 4x4 engineer at the brissy 4x4 show. He said he would look into making the bar go right around to the well.. I'll call him today to see how he's going. I think he will want to see a few people interested before he makes one.2006 GXL Prado 1GR-FE - ARB Lockers & Bar, Tigerz11 Winch, snorkle, Custom Bash Gaurd & Steps, AJ4x4 Rear Bar, Spotties, UHF, Dual batt, 33" KM2s, Custom drawers, Ext Icon Coilovers, 4" SRC Shockies, Dobinson 4" Springs, Diff drop, Light Racing UCA's, Ext SS brake lines, Driveshaft spacer, Superior trailing arms, Nitro 4.56 diff gears, DBA Slotted brakes, TRD Supercharger, Bullet Ultimate Exhaust, XEDE Dual map Processor

My MCC bar is fitted up. There is some pictures on my build page, but it has some small tweaks before being a completed job. Ie reverse camera relocation, reverse light connection and some custom trim is required.

Steve
The bar (I think he said 6mm thick steel?) with 2 spare wheel carriers, black powder coated, LED brake lights, LED work light on a pole behind spare wheel, 2 LED spot lights in the bar and a recovery point (maybe) will cost about 2500 fitted. Will get more exact pricing once it's all booked in and he knows exactly what i want. Will post some pics once I have it.

Hibbo.
I may be misunderstanding but if the worklight attached to the rear of one wheel arm, then you will always need to close that arm to direct the spot to the rear. I plan on still installing my worklight on the rear door which will stay closed but so I can leave the wheel arms open for easier access whjen camped for the night.
Cheers.Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!
