  • Powerful 4x4 Rear Bar

Finally a rear bar that goes right around to the wheel well (replacing the stupid plastic mud flaps). Here's a sneak speak of the bar - they selling on ebay now, but not available until 28th Feb. They're designed here by Powerful 4x4 and made in China. Pricing is good - I will be ordering one for sure - probably the jerry holder version

What's your thoughts? They look good ay!

Like Shan I'd like to see a photo of one fitted. Looks like a good price but delivery to WA would probably cost quite a bit

I've just been looking at the photo's again Rob, if you look at the last one this is taken effectively from inside and the big section on the right is the side panel. I'm not sure how the whole thing is mounted - seems to be a single bracket with two holes that attach to the chassis rail either side. Not sure about all the weight of the side wings just hanging there - I guess that's no different to a bullbar though?

I called the guys selling them on ebay, they do go right around to the wheel well - if you stick your head up under the side of your bumper you will see 2 holes with captive nuts - assuming they use those. Problem for me is I have my shock reservior's mounted there....I will have to do some customizing.

Does the MCC bar go right to the wheel well?

haha yeah I suppose, I called Powerful 4x4 and asked them for some pics, they didn't have any.... their engineer is currently in China fixing some "small issues" so assuming once that's fixed we will see some pics

Would this mean cutting the flare would be required too?

How's that one going now Tim? Any issues plus did they fit it or did you get it through a dealer? I know Mumsrig organised it for you.

This is the MCC bar, I just want to see a side view of the Powerful 4x4. You wouldn't think its that difficult really. Found nothing on the web.
