May be a silly question, but I'll give it a go. I lost a rear mud flap on the way back from Weipa, and the resulting damage to the lower rear panel from stone chips was horrendous. Yeah rough road, but still Highway 1. Do you reckon this should be covered by warranty, or am I pushing stuff up hill?

ya might as well give it a go, the worst they will say will be no.had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear. -
As it was offroad I reckon your pushing it uphill.

Give it a go mate! after all the road to Weipa is just another country road with a few corrugations and holes, that is what these vehicles are designed for.

Well, I must give the local service department a wrap (no affiliation and it won't make up for all the other negative comments from me and others). Not only are they replacing the mud flap, but they are also replacing the flare that suffered the stone damage under warranty, no questions asked. I read the thread thinking to myself that even I would knock you back if I were a Service Mgr, that is just straight wear and tear stuff, absolutely nuthin to do with manufacturer warranty
