That would be the only other thing that I would have liked to have acomplished with mine, having said that I got over it being off centre slightly pretty quickly.

I dont think it would matter which motor you have, just whichever one you think looks the best It will be interesting to see one of the wider ones fitted to a Prado and how it looks form underneath.

If you really want to be different though the Rav bonnet scoop looks pretty slick as well, much more work and expensive but it comes up nice. I have seen this rig in the flesh and it looks the goods! http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...ighlight=scoop

My spouse just asked why we needed a hole in the bonnet. Well, it goes like this...................

                  Hi All,

What Parts are required to mount the Scoop, apart from the Scoop itself?

I plan to use the new Hilux one, as on Bushbasher, and get a Panel Beater to do the job.

No additional parts required. Scoop came with mounting hardware. Cut the hole, paint and fit. Simple. Well, almost. Need to do some careful planning before engaging the angle grinder. Will throw some pics in tomorrow.

This was going to be my next project so a rough price would be interesting.
I'm going to get a panel beater to do the job.

$120 for the scoop from Qld via ebay, $500 for the paint job which included painting and re-fitting the scoop and repairing the scratches on my left front flare. I did the cut and fit, panel shop did a little trimming on some of the edges. It was going to be anywhere from $800 - 1000 if they did the whole lot.

Around the $1000 is what I had thought.
Don't think I could cut into the bonnet myself so I'll be happy to find a good panel shop and let them do it.
