What underbody protection is everyone running?

Anyone replaced the fuel tank guards with anything non factory?

I'm running with TJM, had it since 2006 and have no complaints. I don't have any non factory fuel tank guards. What is available for that?

I use Brown Davis guards. Heavy but solid. They have saved me a couple of times in the high country but the need will depend on where you plan on taking it.

AMTS 120 underbody protection, perfect fit, strong as, well thought out and made by a pradopoint member. Enough said.

I run AMTS 120 underbody also. As gumboot says, if you are upgrading from the factory sand scoop, you wont find a better product or price than this.

I don't know of any fuel tank guards available in Australia, but this question has come up twice recently:

Wonder if AMTS (Andrew) is up to the challenge for fuel tank guards

I second that. I got the front ones off AMTS and when I was looking under the vehicle the old fuel tank guard had a few dings in it. I would be interested.

Using AMTS's underbody protection and saved me heaps so far, some nice gauges through the surface but no dents or bows at all. Tough as...

I have the Brown Davis guards. They are solid and well made. I bought mine just before AMTS started his, and considering everyone seems happy, they could be another option as well.

Using eBay bushskinz 4mm thick (needs to be 6mm) front plate, it's better than the stock one.
Would be interested in replacement fuel tank gaurds, I'm tired of removing and panel beating the stock ones.

The plates I got from amts are unrecognisable, BUT, they have prevented any damage to my underside and without them there would be some serious damage. As the recipient of the first set I felt it was my duty to "test" them. The verdict is very positive indeed.

Now all you have to do is stop hitting the kerb and test them out on some tracks.

I just got the bushskinz ones too. Very pleased with them and the 4mm thick steel as all the other plates out there seem to be 3mm. The laser cutting on the front is very cool too

Bashed the old toyo plates up pretty bad on the brewery track in woods point. Made it without any real damage and Prado was stock at the time....
