  • Where to Buy paint for accessories?

I have some custom brackets for my LED bar and want to paint them the same body colour (to match the arb bar also).

Where does one source say a 400ml spray can of said paint?

Some of the auto spares chains can do this, Autobarn etc. you will just have to prove you are mature enough for the responsibility associated with a can of spray paint. Usually the best way is to test the can by writing a rude word on the front doors. If the doors are auto opening this can be tricky and a further demonstration of maturity and manual dexterity.

Do you think they would accept pictures of my "tags" taken on my stolen iPhone, together with a well worded statutory declaration (said stat-cha-tree dek-ler-ray-shun)?

I'd go to supercheap or autobahn for that MLC. Take your paint code in with you. Don't forget to grab a can of light grey primer and clearcoat too.
        Cheers Ben.

MLC some of these guys can be fussy and want to be sure it is your own work. While a stat dec should be enough I would get some witness statements to go along with it. The best statements are of course provided by members of the Constabulary.

          Edit:

Just realised my first post may seem immature so I will clarify.

The actual word isn't relevant though if you can use a foreign word or Latin that adds bonus points and hints to a higher standard of education. The main thing though is keep your work neat. I cannot stress this enough. The word must be legible. Write clearly and definitely no runs. If you do have a bit of a whoopsy start again. No shame in that. Use the whole can if you need to after all having proven your abilities there will be no restrictions on future purchases.

The Dulux paint centres (they change their name every couple of years (paint n place)) have all the paint codes and shades. They can make up spray cans, brush on, touch up, etc.

Noted, my tag is "audacter scripsi"

Edit: no need to concern yourself over my standard of education or IQ or EQ. There are 8 pretty framed certificates on my wall and the lowest measure for an IQ I received was 130. That said, the lowest marks I have received were for English!!!!

I choose not to apply myself most of the time

MLC I don't doubt your IQ or EQ though not sure how you flunked that test to get such a low score, but I digress. I would happily sell you paint without any proof of qualifications. But alas your nearest vendor is not me. If you have no other option send me your paint code and I will, by return pm, send your my Swiss account details so you can deposit the appropriate 6 figure sum. When the transaction is complete I will send you the paint. At this stage just a back up plan but a good plan nonetheless.

Tim is on annual leave, they only do 15ml bottles but they directed me to Protec. $26.50 per 400ml spray can. Should be ready in 48 hours. Ordered clear and the coded colour. I will get the primer from SCA.

thanks to everyone for your help.

Any posts after this entry are worthless, useless and probably payback for my occasional valueless posts.
