refitting flares

I clipped a log on the rear left mudflap and it tore my flare which is attached to it off,has anyone tried to refit said flare as some of the mounts have broken free,they appear to be glued on seperately,and it would appear that there is some knack to popping it back on.any help would be greatly appreciated as im keen to having my car back to looking slick! Adam
