  • Recovery points & ARB Deluxe bar

Ok, please dont shoot me if the answer is elsewhere, but I just can't find what I am looking for.

Want to fit recovery points to my prado, but I have read conflicting info about points & the ARB bars & people having trouble installing them with said bars - I have a deluxe non winch one.
I have been trying to find installation pics to clarify it for me, but cant seem to find them either.

To my understanding, the aftermarket recovery points use the two holes in your chassis near the radiator - is this correct?
As far as I can see, anything from the bullbar wouldnt impede on this - so i gather i can just fit them up as normal?

My bar doesnt have a tow point, so i am thinking it may be an older one.

And the other thing is, what are everyones suggested brands?

Hi mate , I use Amts recovery points which fit around the ARB bar no worries. He is moderator on this site so just pm him for details. Here's what they look like

Sorry for some reason, I can't reply to your Facebook message, or any Facebook messages as of today on my phone. Will get on the PC tomorrow and try again.

I'm currently out but waiting for the next batch to be made.

Just got notified today from the laser cutter that they are done. Will collect next week and check. Then off to zinc platers and then powder coating.

              Too late for an order?

I'll get my "new" '04 120 next week, and it has an ARB Winch bar on it - so not sure if I need them or not.

                No, not too late.

I think it has been established that the ARB loops are only suitable for towing.

Andrew has in stock the recovery points to suit. The same as mine and the ones on your old GX.
