Removing intenal scuff marks?

Hi,
Does anyone have any handy hints on how to remove or reduce the scratches and scuff marks that inevitably occur on the internal hard vinyl services, mainly in the rear cargo area?

i obvious way to reduce scuffs, is take more care. (couldn't help myself)
maybe keep up the armour all type of products up to these trims.
idea is, so the item brushes past, rather than biting in and marking.
i'm sure if we came up with a solution, someone would market it shortly after.

I think I have seen someone mention somewhere that they used a small gas flame like one of those small soldering irons.

I saw a post once where someone claimed to have fixed a deep gouge with a heat gun. I'd like to see more evidence before tring it, and I have one that needs it. Maybe heating it until it starts melting and pressing scrunched up glad-wrap or something to mould it back into place might work. Best to get a trim to test it on first!!!

Many years ago, a mate's plastic on his dashboard was badly marked courtesy of a wayward child... 'nuff said.

Anyway, he took it to a body repair shop, where I think he said they used plastic welding. He watched as they used a tool to remelt the surface.

When it was all done, I couldn't notice where it had been repaired.

You might try googling plastic welder's in your area, or try your local body repair shop.
