How much protection from the sun does the moonroof offer

My average searching skills couldn't find an answer to my question (apologies if I've missed something) - does the glass moonroof offer any kind of UV protection at all?

I know the side windows do and it would make sense that the moonroof did as well but something tells it it may not. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Dunno about UV preotection, I am sure it does though as it is partial tinted.

It does however have a nice 100% UV cut when you slide the closing interior lid over it...

Not sure about the prado, but when we had a RAV 4 i remember coming home from a nice long drive in the bush one day with the slide cover open not the glass bit and one side of my body was noticably burn't, left arm and the left side of my face.

no idea - I spoke with tint a car yesterday where they said that they rear 'privacy glass' doesn't have any UV film at all, and I can add a clear coat with UV for a nominal fee.

I assume that you could do the same with the sunroof.
