    Rear Bumper loose!

    Hey Guys, I just recently did the Gib river road and the corrogations were pretty rough on my rear bumper now i have noticed that the left and right back quarter panels have come a bit loose. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and know a fix, eg new plastic bumper clips or if its covered under warranty? 8)
    Apart from that it wast a sweet trip, definately recommend it if you get the time!

      I would ask them to fix it under warranty, you don't need to tell them were you have been.

        Just had all the tape and clips replaced under warranty on mine, no questions asked.

            Hi Patrick,
            Would love to see the pics as planning a trip over there next May, those guards are a Warranty job, the Prado is an off-road vehicle after all.

              Sounds like the Gibb River Rd up to it's old tricks! Yeah just run a hose under there to clean it up a bit and see what Mr Toyota has to say about it. Are there clips holding the rear bumper on then? Not bolted?

                Is it the rear bumper bar that is loose or the quarter panel mouldings

                The rear bar will come off & on easily & is held on by bolts & reuseable clips where as the quarter panel moulds (and all the other mouldings on the side of the vehicle)have clips & tape (lots of that need to be ordered separately) that need to be replaced when the mould is removed to get it to sit correctly when refitted
