Rear door rattle/squeak

My 2006 V6 VX has a strange squeak or rattle in the rear door. Amazingly, lubricating the catch and plastic support removes it completely. Unfortunately this fix only works for a relatively short time and then has to be redone. Its not a big deal but I feel something must be out of adjustment although no dust enters the vehicle. Anyone any ideas ?

Honda , i had the same ... basically i cleaned the red dust out of the plastic "reciever" and greased it , this lasted for 2-3 weeks till it got another mouthfull of dust.

Then i had a bit of an accident where a mate let my door go on a windy beach and the door dropped 5mm

So the only way to fix it without a new door was to stick 3 x 1mm copper washers on the door side bottom hinge .... now im specifically saying the door side as the body side makes no difference when the door is closed . Now its sweet, and makes no noise when it gets dust in . So it was slightly low in the first place , when its fixed to the right height , the noise goes away.

The car is well out of warranty and im not going down the road of $1500 for a new door through insurance at this time.
