Ill give it a few weeks, by then it will start to chip off and you will have to start over again. Should have done it with sound deadener, more expensive although it wont chip or fade as the stuff is like tar. Last for years and protects the inner gaurds alot better, just dont paint over the screws and the little plastic clips. There a bugger to get off in the first place,
