One of the members on here has his custom side-steps on the for sale pages Rock sliders / steel side steps.
They are marked as $680 for a pair... There are extra links to his build up and a cape york trip where they are put to the test...

I think the problem with the lack of interest is that 80% of the Prados you see on the roads are lucky to have non factory bullbar let alone any more serious modifications. For now they are popular amongst growing families needing a larger wagon and the older motoring community. Very few use their Prado as a 4x4 on tough terrain and don't warrant the cost of these kind of accessories. However as the message implies as they get older and 80 series/GQ patrols we may see other products emerge - hopefully.
