  • remooving middle row seats

Had a search but couldn't find any tips for getting the plastic covers off the mounting bolts for the middle row of seats. Any tips to avoid breaking them ? Neil

    Re: remooving middle row seats

I have removed my centre row seats for a long trip on a previous occassion.
If I remember correctly, removing the cover requires a large screwdriver inserted from the rear and at the bottom on either side, release the clips with an outward movement, then slide the whole cover backward.
I haven't replaced my covers as I am probably going to take the seats out again, so will try to take a pic of one.

( and regards from a fellow Pug owner -307 not a classic )
    Cheers, Wayne

Ta - the 404 has been replaced with a 504 I owned for 14 years and then bought back after another 17! In great condition. Neil

Ta for that. I like the flat floor area.

When you get the seats out(unclip and slide) I used existing holes to put flat floor in.
It is a bit of bending but used the front seat bolts to secure the base.

Then removed the rear step inside the door to secure the rear of the frame.

Also included a strip in the floor for ratchet tie downs.

            Have fun

            Nick
