LH rear window strip

Howdy,

All my other window seals/strips seem to be doing OK with the exception of this bad boy. You'll also notice a bit of surface rust creeping in below.
I have had a bit of a forum search and found full seal replacements but nothing specific to this bit.
I don't suppose anyone knows what this part is called so that I can track down a replacement?

I’ve got this issue myself on both rear windows. I was actually going to cut the flaps off, tape up the base of the glass and upper panel with plastic protective covering, then sand the light rust spots off with a high grit sand paper & paint over with black paint & primer in one with a careful steady hand and smallish brush.

That sounds like a decent option mate, thanks for sharing. I def need to sort the surface rust and was just hoping for an easy fix on the black strip!
