If you do a search for recovery points you will find several threads with everything you will ever want to know about this type of recovery point, lots of people use similar, Outback Ideas was the original i think. The Mods will probably lock this thread once they see it, as this topic has been done to death elsewhere. always try and do a search before starting a new topic, it helps to keep the forum uncluttered and mekes it easy for people to find stuff.

ohh ok.. but this is a forum n i had a question so i asked it... about this particular item!! i understand wat ur sayin but it goes against the very reson i posted the question.. its called good advice. otherwise this site will lose its very purpose for existing in the first place.

Iceage, their is alreadly heaps of GREAT info on this site about your question and many others which many great poeple spend hours contributing too, People like u create the "CLUTTER" by asking the same question over and over again, maybe u spend your time reading the rules and the 9 pages of info i have supplied for u below on recovery points before having a shot at people.

By all means ask the question if you need to, there are numerous threads already on this subject, if you read them you will almost certainly find your answer, if you still want more info then at the end of an existing thread is the place to ask your question. If you cant find any threads relating to your enquiry that is the time to start a new thread. Your question has been posed many times before and answered many times before, and i answered it again in this thread by letting you know that a search will reveal heaps of info and that many people use these or similar recovery points. If everyone started a new thread everytime they had a question there would be millions of threads and the people in the know would be answering the same questions over and over again, they would soon get sick of this and the site would become useless.

As you get to know the personality of different members on PP you will notice that some people take an interest in, and have excellent knowledge on particular subjects, my very first post on PP was in relation to front recovery points on 120 series prado, i have researched this topic extensivly and feel that i have a good handle on it and can therefore help others on this topic. This is exactly what i have tried to do here, help you. there is on this site like most places in the world an ettiquite that should be followed, as you are a relativly new member i was simply trying to help you out with the correct way to go about things.

Starting a new thread on every question that HAS been asked before creates clutter. It also makes it a bastard to search for info for future members info on said topics.. thats why we do it this way.

The rules clearly state what is expected..
