120 Prado Brakes Siezing

First thread Yeh!. Have a 2003 Diesel Prado KZJ120 and live on a property where we have to cross two creeks. Have an issue were the pistons sieze in the calipers in the front brakes due to water getting past the seals. Currently the front left hand brake siezes after heavy braking. Looking for recommendations for replacing - something that can handle getting wet everyday and hopefully improves performance (never been happy with the brakes).

get the calipers from a 2005 and later LC120. these ones have the clip to help prevent the rubber seals from opening too much. the calipers from earlier ones don't have the clips. except for the clips, the calipers are all the same
