  • Rear Brake Bias Adjustment

For a few weeks now I have had an annoying rattle from the rear of the Prado when going around sharp right hand turns (round abouts) it's only there when coasting, any application of brake or throttle and the rattle goes away. I climbed under the Prado today and I'm fairly sure the rattle is comming from the rear brake bias valve.

I've removed the rubber boot and nothing appears to be broken. So I think it just needs adjusting (maybe I got the spring caught caught up on a stick somewhere and stretched it). My question is what is the correct amount of tension? And how to measure it? If anyone has experience with this or could possibly send me the relevant pages from the manual the help would be most appraciated.

Best not to fiddle with this

Get dealer to check pressures in system and adjust it if neccesary.

Can get very messy if you get it wrong. ops:
