ABS sensor dash light????

Hi guys, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Just spent two weeks doing the old tele track, frenchmans and old coach road. Numerous bog holes and water crossings had the ABS dash light coming on and off. The last crossing has now shown both ABS and the park brake dash light, however they go off after about 10 mins of driving, only to return again within a half hour for the remainder of running time (today as and example 9 hours, cairns to emerald).
Any idea if it would be one of the sensors or the ABS modulator or something else? I have disconnected battery, removed and replaced both fuses and have checked that the ABS is not working by jumping on the anchors.
With a few thousand of skippy and his mates between emerald and Melbourne am hoping for a roadside fix?

Did you get te carpet wet? There is a connection under the carpet near te passenger middle row seat, water here can cause that issue.

I recently had this happen to me. (only that it came on once or twice and I haven't seen it again). I did find a couple of old threads on this so some of these might help.

There can be an issue with a connector under the rear seat on the passenger side under the carpet.

I think mine was mud on the ABS wheel sensor because I have not had it occur again.

Yes, had a good amount inside on two occasions, see the photo of the depth in nolans brook on the "what did you do to your 120 today" thread. I never knew of the electrical connection beneath the carpet there, will pull apart and dry. Thanks again.

I washed the carpets in Nolan's Brook as well, I had the same issue. I stripped out all the carpets at Sesia and dried them all out. Pictures here http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post249960

It's definitely unforgiving territory! At least siesia is a great spot to dry out whilst catching a bucket load of fish!! We made the mistake of doing the north section backwards, our three days of paradise in punsand bay quickly dissipated once we hit the tele backwards!!. Did you manage to do frenchmans track whilst up north, this was the highlight/challenge of our trip?

We attempted it from the Chilli beach end but the Pascoe was impassible, 4 feet deep and flowing fast. Hoping to head back to the cape next year and have another crack at it.

We drove frenchmans track, that was more serious than any section along the tele. The pascoe was about 4ft and flowing, we had three spotters in the water and made it across only to have to winch each car up the other side. The worst section is the west side of the wentlock though, we spent 4 hours winching a 50 metre section for 4 vehicles, broke a ARB winch extension strap and burnt out a winch- it's the stickiest mud I have ever seen.
