  • Brake dust

I've just changed the front and rear pads but noticed a fair amount of dust developing on the wheel rims. Is this normal?

Hey pancho.. most likely the pads you've fitted are highly organic with very minimal kevlar or semi metallic friction material in them.. they will also wear out quicker than kevlar/semi-metallic pads. What pads and rotor combination did you go for?

Hi Ammarg, the rotors are the originals, the pads were bendix originals, does that help at all?

What do you mean by bendix originals? As in Bendix 4wd or heavy duty? Did you machine the rotors before fitting pads? Or was it a padslap?

Rotors were fine so I just replaced the pads with Bendix Premium (Reccomended)
