TopTraction has come back to me.
The non-LSD locker is in stock and he normally does it for $365 (PT1620). He can do a group buy price but delivered to one address. He needs numbers first.
There is no stock for LSDs. If it will ever be in stock, the price is $405 (PT1622).

So if I've got it right, the non-LSD Prados are the ones with traction control. 4WDSystems sells these for $399 (vs $365).
4WDSystems has the LSD lockers at $499 (vs $405).

This guy sells the PT1620 for USD270 + USD55 postage.

Any word on why they don't supply for Prado's with manual gearboxs?

Does the Lokka work in both directions? I know it unlocks automatically when going forward and turning to allow the outside wheel to turn faster but does this also work in reverse? I'm not worried too much about it unlocking to allow the outside wheel to run faster when reversing just making sure it still locks the diff when backing out of something I'd rather not be in - if that makes sense :0)

I heard from them a couple of days ago with a quote ($499 + $20 postage to WA on special till the end of the month).

Maybe they're just ignoring complicated questions.

They fobbed me off when I first rang to see what was available for the different model Prados, asking me instead to send through a website enquiry. This was because he had more urgent things to attend to. I felt that I was being treated with suspicion.

My aim during the call was to gather models and prices so that I could post here and have info available to PP members. After I asked for a model/price for my petrol Grande and asked about diesel models and GXLs, I was suddenly met with a certain "attitude" and was questioned why I wanted to know...

Having said all that, I'm sure Tom has a reason and may be under the pump on the day I called. I've driven past the shop previously and they look about as good as any other 4WD shop around Adelaide. I assumed that they are still professionals in their business and I just caught him on a bad day. Which is why I didn't mention any of this when i first posted up the info earlier in this thread.

However, he still hasn't explained why there isn't one for the manual transmission and I will leave others to ring him up. I guess he could have provided the info to one person (because I specifically said during my call that if there was any info that can be posted to a forum) then he wouldn't have to tend to the phone answering many calls from PP members regarding each Prado model setup.

Probably because I enquired before you and things are still fresh in his mind.

I just rang Tom and found him very helpful. To answer the question does it work the same in reverse - Yes it does. I also asked why it couldn't be fitted on a Manual and he was a bit vague, saying it's a different setup on the Manual, whatever that means. I did bite the bullet and order a Lokka.

Hey Amts, totally off-topic I know but how do you get emoticons? I haven't been able to find them on the new forum.

The quick reply does not have the emoticons, but you can use : and ) to get you a quick smilie.
Otherwise, click on "Go Advanced" and you will see the emoticons there.

Thanks Amts I'm sending this by going advanced and I still don't see any emoticons. There are Icons but they are attached to the post not in the text - I just clicked one to show hence the question mark above.
