I should probably drive a bit slower when towing.

If you don't tow, still necessary to improve the cooler? unless you have supercharge on your engine already.

By the way, how to handle the old valve body? no use anymore, right? What I'm thinking is that, if the company could provide the upgrade just based on our existing valve body, that will be great and alot cheaper I guess.

BTW, a question to Matt, is it a 5 speed transmission in your PRADO? I'm confused by the model when I looked several catalogues, especially the original LC120 used a 4 speed transmission, and seems LC120 in different countries always has some minor differences.

          Thanks.

Matt has the five speed. Before September 2004 the V6 had a four speed auto then changed to five speed from this date.

Thanks, then I'm clear on my transmission model, it should be A750F.

I also surf the other places for transmission modification, seems several companies are doing this, especially in US, not only valve body modification, but also torque converter, cooler system and etc. improvement.

A lot stuff need to learn...

Matt didn't update for a while...

One question for Matt, when you swap those solenoids, with the new valve body, is that necessary to adjust some of the solenoids in order to fit the new valve body performance?

                  Thanks.

I think I will get one of these fitted for when my car hits the big 300 milestone, as a treat, as long as it has behaved and not cost me too much in the meantime.

Finally, I upgraded my valve body as well, but I used IPT's products, they modified the valve body, not sure what they did, and I justed installed today, drived for half day, direct feeling is that: at low speed, R, gear 1 to gear 2, 2 to 3, the shift change is just rude, very sudden, obviously uncomfortable; however, after gear 3, everything is ok. In highway, gear change with the strength from your feet is quite quick, better than before. At this moment, I still cannot get use to it, I will try, otherwise, I may try Nomad product one more time, not sure Namad's actual performance, especially if it's affect the comfort.

by the way, I was asked to adjust this solenoid, turn its adjustment screw 2 turns clockwise. Is Nomad doing this?

Tried to attach the pics again, it works now.

I drove my car with IPT valve body for several hundreds km already, and in the highway, it's better than before for sure, but in the city, i still cannot get used to that sudden and quick shift change from gear 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, how does Nomad valve body perform? its shift change is smooth and quick, or sudden and quick?

I just bother with this sudden and quick shift change from IPT valve body, it's really uncomfortable when it comes suddenly, even though people said for the sports transmission, it's always like this.

I'm talking with Rodney in Wholesale, try to understand more about Nomad valve body performance, but a real experience from user like Matt will really help, so it will be really appreciated if can get more advise from Matt.

                          Thanks,

Yes, click the pics can see the big one, but what I'm asking is how to let the pics directly shown as big one, like the pics posted by Matt in the first floor.
