Was'nt sure in what subsection to post this so I'll put it here. I have had my 2003 120 series Prado 4ltr for just over 2 weeks now and I have a concern regarding the vibration comming form the steering wheel when travelling between 95km/hr to 110km/hr. I have had a wheel alignment and balance done but there is still a vibration in the steering wheel. I must stress that this vibration is intermitant and seems to mainly occur on straights. When steering into a sweeping bend it seems to go away(this just maybe me wishfull thinking) Anyway sometimes it's there and other times not. The Pardo has done 120000kms has something started to wear???? My thoughts are possible the steering rack is shot? Worn bushes somewhere in the steering linkages or could worn front struts cause this problem??? Can anyone help me out???? Has anyone had this problem on there vehicle???? I am heading to Toyota this week but would like to go in with hopefully some prior knowledge from people who drive their Prado's on a day to day basis. Once again any ideas on what might be causing the problem would be greatly appreciated.
