6Speed V6 issues!

So when i change from 2nd to 3rd alittle to quick it lets out a grind, all the other changes are fine just that one, im guessing maybe a syncros going, any other ideas would be cool. cheers

It does sound like a worn syncro

You would instinctively know if it was clutch pedal adjustment. EG: hard to select all gears.

Not many are aware but some people tend to rest there hand on the gear stick whilst driving which is a very bad habit as this tends to cause putting load on the gearstick which pushes the syncro onto the gears which prematurely wears them out... In turn the brass syncro no longer has the capacity to slow the gears down quick enough to engage into the next gear smoothly. (Having the wrong gear oil can also cause this). Highly unlikely but if just changed the gearbox oil then it is highly possible!

well i did just change the oil.... though i did check a million times if its the right stuff, 75w-90 and api Gl-5. can anyone second that this is the right stuff? it did just start since changing the oil,
