I've recently noticed a flapping/clicking sort of noise coming from the front wheel area (or surrounds). It can only be heard above 70km/h and is quite faint (I can only hear it if I'm driving next to a concrete barrier on the freeway). The sounds speeds up with increased speed and persists even if I put it in Neutral gear. Any ideas? Nothing seems loose and it's not humming as though wheel bearing noise. Also I have BFG AT tyres, could it be the tryes? Sounds unlikely

Hey 4WD. A bit off topic but....... I was at a workshop shout many years back and saw an apprentice scoot out and wack a bloody great truck wheel weight on the inside of his mates front wheel - you can imagine the carry-on when he went down the road! Sure it's not the characteristic ticking noise from the V6 manifold?
