Have some anwsers: taken the wheel off and replaced it with the spare...the noise is gone.

It's definately not the rim and i cannot (and believe me i've spend 30 min looking at it) see anything wrong with the tyre, no rocks no nails etc no bump, cuts.....WTF. Might take it back to the tire shop and get them to replaced it since i bought it less than 6 months ago

could be a staple or small nail on top of a tread block. broken off screw maybe? so it's hard to see but still taps against the ground.

I'd be having a look inside the tyre itself. It might be a peice of rubber floating around in the tyre.

Maybe the tyre is delaminating? Perhaps also get the rim checked out for runout.

If there is a problem with the one tyre check all of them just in case.

This thread really helped a lot, even thought its 2 years old! I had the exact same symptoms, tyres, vehicle. Also swapped the right front wheel with the spare, and the problem was gone! I couldn't believe it, as when I inspected the wheel and tyre, everything was perfect. No stones, nails or delamination could be noticed on the wheel. It was then when I turned my attention to the wheel balancing weight on the inside of the rim (the type that clamps around the edge of the rim, not the stick on ones) and I noticed it was loose! took it off, bent the clamp part a bit tighter, and,,,

              Problem solved!

Hope this can also help someone with the same symptoms!
