  • Low range unlocked??

Is there any possible modification to enable use of low range with the centre diff unlocked?

Buy an auto, I use low unlocked to reverse my camper up the drive

    I can run L & H unlocked and L & H locked via the flick of a switch.

D4D it depends on the model. My 2008 GXL Auto has the manual low range lever and won't do low unlocked.

Must be something to do with the Option pack then as I have an '08 with traction and stability control...

Yes that is correct, only the models speced with traction control had the centre diff lock button, all others lock the centre diff when low range is selected.

It has been discussed numerous times before about doing this mod, it always gets put in the too hard basket. Anything is possible but I think you are looking at big $$ to get it done.

          Cheers Andrew
