Not want to argue, IMO these are really good LSD! I was considering it.
If you get a wheel up, it won't be locked unless you drive through the brakes, easy for anyone in an auto.
Traction control is great & gets the job done usually, but with that LSD or a locker there's no time delay which sometimes can make some difference - (smoother) That being said I'd probably not bother with it unless your doing really are stuff & still Having trouble.

Overall, if your going to do something with the rear I think Adrian has made the best choice with the Detroit locker.

Can't quote on the product, but happy to recommend the business (Trans Diff). They fixed me up when the diff blew last year. Fantastic service.

            What are the diff ratio's in a 2008 D4D 6 speed?
does anyone know the part numbers for theses E lockers?

i need to do rear axle seals so while i have the rear apart i might as well jump in with and better rear

are those E lockers made her by Harrop or just imported by them ?

No E lockers available for the 120 series rear diff till the middle/end of next month. Apparently everyone is waiting on back order, Harrop are waiting for parts to arrive from Eaton USA. I've just placed an order for mine, so will join the que and wait for delivery.

I found mine through another reseller/ diff shop as at the time of purchasing for mine Opposite Lock were again out of stock with the rears. Must either be popular or the demand is now starting to outstrip what they presume would be adequate supply.

                Cheers,

There appears to be an auto e-locker and a push putton e-locker:

                  Any thoughts?

Not sure about the existence of an auto e-locker, but the push button version works well and is my choice -

Thanks Greg. If you read this thread from start to finish it would appear that there 'was' an auto locker... or should I say an auto unlocker. Looks like they have moved on to the push button variety. A little more hassle to install but not by much.

Hmm I should change my whereabouts... The Shire could mean many places in Sydney couldn't it lol.

                        Sorry Steve,

I thought folk were talking about the Lokka . I didn't realise Eton made them as well - you are quite right.

                        Cheers

Hi ,I live 300 km down south from Perth, and interested in auto lockers for my prado 150. Can any one help me to find a good shop to contact. Or should I go for lockers. I am not a hard core off-roader

Got one in the shed already fitted to a centre. Second hand, only been driven to Tasmania and back. Could be yours real cheap.
