Hi, is there special transmission oil required from Toyota to change transmission oil? I remember some info on here about Auto transmission oil that you could only get from Toyota.

Yes, for the 4 speed, Type T-IV from the dealer in 4L bottles.

I called my local Toyota dealer 4L bottle $57 and said I need only 4L for the change? Amts you saying 12L ??

Yes, 12L is needed for the flush.

Thanks AMTS, I have never done this before so looking for advice on the best way to do this. I read in other posts about filters ect. Do you just drain the old ATF change the filter and fill it with 12L of new T4 ATF ?

No we (120D4D and I) didn't do the filters.
