  • 120 Prado High range problem

I was cruising down the hwy doing 110 then all of a sudden with out any noise I had no gears. Checked the gear stick , yep she is still in 5th . Tapped the accelator and nothing it was like she is netural and revving its head off. I pulled over rang thru all the gears and still nothing. So I checked hi and low shifter and it was in hi range still . I shift it into HL and there you go I have gears again I then checked L , yep I have gears there to so I put it back H . Nothing there . I checked the oil , oil was at the right level and very clean , I pulled the shifter and boots off and moved the 2 selector rods and they move back forth as they should. So once I put it back together I had to continue my journey in HL.
While driving I didn't notice and noise what so ever and there is no crunching in the transfer case between shifts . Has anyone had this problem at or have any idea of what has broken in the case
    All help would be appreciated

Could be loosing drive through a busted cv/axle/diff. or could be something wrong internal of the transfer case.

Thanks , I will check it out , I'm sure it's internal in the case , diff would be noisey as hell , as I only have low it wouldn't be the front diff or cv's either , and like I said before there isn't any noise coming from any where

I just started it up left it in high and in gear with the handbrake on , yep the left cv has a problem, diff side is spinning and the outter cv is sitting still , hopeful that is the only damage
