H & L and HH,HL and LL etc

we have a 2007 grande and it only has a H and L. i saw in my mates prado he has the HH, HL LL etc. whats the difference? whats the extra gear for?

HH is High range unlocked centre diff, HL is high range locked centre diff( used for loose surfaces), LL is low range locked centre diff(use for slow offroad work), yours has H and L and it should also have a button to lock and unlock the centre diff instead of doing it manully with the gearstick.

Save starting another thread.
As some may recall we recently took delivery of our new truck. Looking at the little stick I am confused.
We only have H & L. It is a 11/2008 plated V6 auto GXL with option pack 1. Other GXL's I have seen (without option pack 1) have HH, HL & LL. Have we been ripped or is this how they are built now :?: :?: :?:

You have High and low range on your stick, you should have a button to lock centre diff, ours is locked from moving the stick from H to HL( high locked) to LL(low locked), we have no button done manually, hope this explains it.
