    Heavy Clutch Pedal

    After Driving through a particularly deep mud hole the clutch pedal got really heavy. Sticking a finger in the drain hole thinking the bell housing/clutch may be covered in mud was of no use my finger came out clean. Has any one else experienced this?

    For those who care. Toyota adjusted the free play and lubricated the throw out bearing and slides. As relayed back to me by the service adviser it was dry. The pedal is now like a new one.

      How the hell did they get to the throw out bearing to lubricate it Steve?

      Is there an inspection plate on the bell housing of a manual Prado?
