Hi,
My gear stick in my 2005 auto has suddenly come very loose and no longer clicks into park or into manual mode. Eg. if I drop into D auto I used to have to push the lever to the right and it would then click into manual 4th (I think). From there you could pull straight down to 3rd, and then to get into 2nd you push the lever again to the left. While changing gears manually off-road the gear stick suddenly became loose. I'm no longer able to go into manual 4th, it just flops back to "D" auto and no longer have to push the lever to the left to get it into park, it just sort of goes straight up and stays there. The gears seem to change ok.
If anyone can shed light on this problem I'd be most grateful.
