Gidday
Hope everyone is having a nice relax and enjoying time with family and pressies!!
Anyway, I'm replacing my rear brake pads and as part of the process I'm trying to check the condition of the rear park brake shoes, but buggered if I can get the rears to turn so I can line up the adjuster hole so I can then back of the park brake adjuster and then remove the rear brake disc !!
What I've done is:
Chock the front wheels
Jack up rears and place on axle stands
remove rear wheels
release park brake
Place the Auto in Neutral
Place Transfer in Neutral
Try as I might I cannot turn the rears - even using a 2 foot bar for some gentle leverage.
Am I missing something obvious or does the Prado need all four feet off the ground to rotate the wheels?
Thanks
Snappa
Note to the MODS - not sure whether to place this post in the brake section or drivetrain section so please move to correct area if you think its neccessary
