  • CV Axle Assembly Prado 120 2003

Hi All, I’m looking for some help.
I have a Prado 120 Petrol 2003 V6 that has done 250km, and yesterday I replace the aging KOs 275/65/17 with some KM3s 265/70/17 (very happy with the nose level for a mud tyre)
But I now have a knocking in the from right when turning at say 50kph, I don’t notice the knocking it a slower speeds. I’m thinking it’s a CV joint but is it normal not to get a knocking slower speeds?
If I do need a new CV joint I’m trying to work out if its more cost effective in the long run to replace just the CV, or replace the full axle assembly? Time to do the work also comes into play as I'll be paying for the work to be done.
As I have a 2” lift I noticed there are axle assembly out there that look to be extended for the 2” lift. Is this needed??
Any other recommendations on where to shop are welcome.
    Thanks
    Rod
