V6 4L auto gearbox lube level

Does anyone know the correct oil amount required in an 5 speed auto gearbox. We have changed three V6 4L Prado auto gearbox lubes the past 3 months and in all three cases the same finding. The manual indicates a 2 litre amount and in all cass four litres came out. The dip stick show the correct level with 2 litre, but did the same with the 4 Litre, before draining.
Any help please.

As per the Toyota service data sheet:

5 Speed auto - (this is an overflow type trans) - 3 lts of Toyota ATF WS.

and for the 4 speed slusher:

4 Speed auto - (this is a level gauge type trans) - 2lts of Toyota ATF Type T
