hey guys have been on the outside looking in for a while but cant seem to find any thing on a mechanical locker in the rear is that cause its not recomended

Are you talking about an Autolocker to replace your LSD? If so there has been one comment to the negative that I can recall that came up during the E locker discussion a while ago. Not sure if there is anything elseOriginally posted by pradozer

yeah auto was what i was after
was just building up a bit of a tourer and thought y not the auto lokka, would only come in when giving a bit of go pedal but otherwise its open
how hard is it to instal an air locker as a diy jobComment

When I was asking about Auto lockers ages ago one person had one and felt it was OK. Someone else mentioned the detroit lockers were set up specifically by someone for the Prado (not sure how really) and they had a good write up.Cheers - Phil Taylor

In particular ... there are two PDF files on the right hand side of the screen ... one is a general discussion paper and the other is a series of pics of fitting a LOKKA.
