Just received my new Scangauge v4.02 from Matthew at Ample Outdoors in Lithgow (www.ample-outdoors.com.au).
The unit is very basic to fit up, especially in a 120 Prado. I just dropped the panel below the steering column, plugged the big connector straight into the OBDII port and cable tied the excess cable up so it wouldn't wander about. I then refitted the panel and used the Velcro sticky strips to fit the gauge on my steering column, allowing enough cable to adjust the steering column up and down.

Hi Matt,
Do you have to drop any panels, i looked for my OBDII port & i see one on the right hand side above the go pedal, is there anoth
er connection behind the panel at the bottom of the steering column??
Cheers

Just fitted mine up. Excellent service from ample outdoors, very quick delivery.
As has been mentioned very easy to fit and program the basic settings. I haven't bothered with auto trans temp yet, but will have a go this weekend.

ok i have read the last 6 pages and can't find a bit of info on throttle position. I have 2 scangauges hooked up with a cable between them for extra gauges and would like to know what percentage the throttle is on cruise control.
Looked on http://scangauge.com.au/?page_id=338 and info for TFT.
Anyone got any ideas.

Had to send my new scangauge back. Was doing strange things like not being able to select 'c' in temperature set up. Also some of the x gauges could not be set or edited. Tried doing a factory reset but no good. Hopefully will get a new unity back this week. When this one comes back will send the old one in for the update. Running two gauges with daisy change gives a lot of gauges to watch. Put new unit in the front of the console with the TPMS gauges.

Already received the replacement unit. Programmed the x gauges and presto both temperature sensors are visible from the auto.
Thanks Ample Outdoors.
