I've just set ours up using Narva 100mm foggy's, worked a treat with about a 10mm clearance around light and no need to disfigure moulded inserts in front bar. I just need to remove fixing points for plastic covers and with the use of some 3mm ally angle, made custome brackets which when drilled to match Narva light bolts, fitted like a glove and look a million bucks. I didn't like the idea of parting with $$$ for OEM IPF foggy's even though I'm sure there a damn good light. Narva lights have a metal casing and are quite adequate for the job. I don't really use them for foggy's as the are a little too high to do what you would expect a fog light to do. I use them more as additional driving lights. Retail cost was $155, however I'd pick up for $108 so was very happy. Narva also make a 100mm driving light 55w kit, same but with different reflector/globe setup. These retail for I think $120 in store. Best thing was the OEM Toyota fog wiring loom worked a treat so no crappy switches to deal with in cabin.
Umm i dnt know if it is just me but my so called fog lights in my ARB bar are brighter than my headlights
Mine are fine. Do you have aftermarket globes in your headlights? How old is your vehicle? Has the headlights been subjected to extreme water that may have effected their reflective capabilities?

Another thing to check is the headlight adjustment. Toyota are a little conservative and aim them quite low... add a litte lift and it can be way out.
You'll find even on a standard Prado they can be adjust "Up" a fair bit without dazzling oncoming cars, but improving forward penitration a whole lot.
Along with the adjustment add a set of globes along the lines of the Phillips 50+ (I think they do 80+ now as well :?: ) for a good, cost effective result.
