I fitted the Projecta terminals to #1s Patrol ute today. Usual power stuff that makes the engine run plus light bar, spots, bonnet light, wench and aux battery. Very neat.

I like the look of those Narva units. Kinda similar to the Baintech ones though has the ability to run separate positive inputs. Would be useful to use the same fuse box for a circuit using the aux battery and my starter...

I was thinking of having one installed near my starter battery on top of the existing fuse box cover as its nice and flat and no need to drill holes, though then power would need to be run around from the aux battery...

A fuse block is a nice way to keep things neat when it comes to the positive connections, but is there any way to tidy up the negative side of things rather than having them all hanging off the negative terminal of my aux battery?

Power distribution blocks are an option to tidy up the negative side of things. 1 large wire in multiple smaller wires out. My old man has his battery in the back of his 90 series and the amount of wires he had hanging off it was crazy. Couple of these blocks and now there's only 2 wires connected. Heaps neater

I got one of these from whitworths marine, it has a positive and negative bus which make it neat and easy to wire accessories.

To those who have used one of these fuse/power blocks, where have you installed it?

I thought near my second battery would be good but not sure on space/accessibility? A lot of people seem to have put it down the back of their vehicle.

I put mine in the space under the steering column. I used the "mecchano" 90 degree bracket strips from Bunnings. There are a couple of screw points to mount them to.
