I have done this to my fridge and must say it is a massive improvement and good to be able to see what is in the fridge. After using it camping last weekend I would have to say that lights the whole way around was probably a little bit of overkill for a 40L Waeco (could have just done it down one side). I took your advice and glues the lights to the fridge straightaway and haven't had any issues so far.
