Where did you purchase the light and what's the brand. May do the same on my rig.

Hey thats a cool idea, I done this about a week after i bought mine. Works very well, also makes the reverse camera work better at night too. Gets a little blinding when i have the camper trailer attached (polished alloy tool box on front).
I used this led light in flood beam.

It just so happens that I have a bolt with a hole down the center that will give me access to into the rear door cavity to the connect into the reverse light wiring loom. Yep, used a longer square-neck bolt from another light I had. The spacer was just an old 3/8 socket I had laying around the garage from and old unused socket set. The light itself is one that the company I work for gets made by a lighting company in Asia (not China). I got permission to be able to sell them at a wholesale level to PP members, which is around $42+GST if anyone wants one. They are quality not cheap ebay-type stuff.
