Hazard lights stuck on

Hi there guys, I come out to my car to see the hazards are on. I turned the central locking on and off and they still flash. I pushed the hazard light switch on and off and they still flash. If I turn the ignition on or start the car they stop flashing. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah. Its just happened to me..anyone got any ideas b4 i waste a few hours!!

Hi piggy..no but it was left outside then some horrendous rain came along for a few hours. Came out and the hazards were on.
The day b4 the oil and fuel filter got changed but dont think the battery was disconnected.

I think its something to do with the immobilizer or the rain has damaged a relay somewhere. Put blankets over it rather than disconnect the neg terminal 4 the night!!

On acc its fine and when ign on. . Exactly the same as #1.

Update..rather than disconnect the neg terminal i left the 5 stage battery charger on all nite and covered up the blinkers for the neighbours.
In the morning it was all fine so must have been some sort of voltage drop warning on the x2 batteries. The redarc sbi12 must have sensed something!!

All okay now..the car does do a lot of short trips will is no good for the car or the batteries.
