Like some people, I failed to see the benefits of a remote head UHF until I started to use it. Currently it has a windscreen mount and I take it in/out as required. I was thinking about mounting it permanently but the unit needs to be visible without taking my eyes off the road/track. Where have ppl mounter there nonremote head units to maintain visibility to the main unit?
