Hi Prado Pointers
I've read several criticisms of the quality of the Prado Headlights and HIB is not the route for me. My 8year old Headlights have lost their magic (maybe never had in the first place) so I have ordered some KC Slimlite 130w Spotlights to be mounted roughly between Foglight and Headlight level.
I believe the light kit includes the wiring, I am though the least electrically minded of people
I would ideally like the have the spotlights work of the High Beam stick control yet have a Spotlight switch that can disable the Spotlights.
So if anytime I need to flash my presence with Highbeam (overtake, intersection appraoch etc etc) then the Slimlites will activate with the Highbeam.
But when on Urban roads and i want to use High Beam but not with the KC Spotlights I can turn the spotlight switch off to deactivate the Spotlights entirely.
Is this possible? Is it relatively simple for the person I en-trust the wiring too? Any tips?
Thanks in advance!
PS: Driving environment is sandstorm, foggy, unlit Arabian Gulf desert roads and tracks (where the Spotlights will be used).
